The Fight Against Breast Cancer (F.A.B.) 5K is a neighborhood Run/Walk dedicated to fundraising for local and national charities with a focus on support for Breast Cancer research and families currently undergoing breast cancer treatment.
Our Story
We are back at it....Why? Because a cure for breast cancer has not been found in the last twelve months. Last year, the 2nd F.A.B. 5k was a resounding success, raising over $20,000 for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). To date we have raised over $36,000 for The BCRF. In addition to this, the F.A.B. 5k is a wonderful, uplifting community event that runners, walkers and volunteers all enjoy. In 2012, we hope to continue the mission on Sunday, June 10th with even more participation and enthusiasm. The 2012 beneficiary will once again be The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
