The Fight Against Breast Cancer (F.A.B.) 5K is a neighborhood Run/Walk dedicated to fundraising for local and national charities with a focus on support for Breast Cancer research and families currently undergoing breast cancer treatment.
We are back at it again in 2014....Why? Because a cure for breast cancer has not been found in the last twelve months. In the four years of the F.A.B. 5K's existence, we have raised over $90,000 for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). In addition to this, the F.A.B. 5k is a wonderful, uplifting community event that runners, walkers and volunteers all enjoy. In 2014, we hope to continue the mission on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 with even more participation and enthusiasm. Won’t you come join us?
Packet Pickup will be at Vintages (12 S. Dunton, Arlington Heights) on Thursday, October 2nd from 4-7 p.m. If you missed the online registration period, we will have registration at packet pickup and on race day beginning at 8 a.m.
Many thanks to all of our runners, walker, volunteers and sponsors for participating in the 4th Annual F.A.B. 5k. With all of your help, we have raised over $17,500 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!! Race Results: http://racetime.info/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/F.A.B.-5K-Age-Group-Results.htm
